SBC new release Witch Hazel & Zinc Skincare Gel

SBC ( Simply Beautiful Cosmetics) never rest on their laurels. The English Skincare Company are constantly coming up with new and innovative skincare products that can be used by the whole family.

Their range of Gels, lotions and beauty products are easily accessible, amazing value and can help with a whole host of skin concerns.

One of their brand new launches is Witch Hazel & Zinc with added Tea Tree. This beautiful almost Turquoise green gel works wonderful on all skin types but is particularly suited to those with greasy or blemished skin. Containing Witch Hazel  from the plant of the same name that has beautiful slim flowers, the Gel is so cooling on the skin. Witch Hazel is well known for its  gentle, yet effective astringent properties that allow it to reduce inflammation on the skin, reduce redness and remove excess oil. When you add  Zinc, which is a mineral the body needs for the Synthesis of Collagen, this makes it a great skin repairer. Add to this mix the healing benefits of Tea tree and you realise what an amazingly powerful combination of ingredient's are wrapped up in this gel.

SBC Witch Hazel & Zinc Gel

I remember when I was a teenager many, many, many years ago, I always used a product called Witch stick ( I think?) It was brilliant at drying out spots really quickly, but it did leave that particular area of my skin very dry, patchy and flaky. You get no drying like that with this product. If you suffer from Acne on the face or body, or have teenagers that do, or you just suffer the occasional breakout, this gentle gel can be applied morning and evening to the areas that need it. You can apply this as your moisturiser over skin that suffers from Acne, but do not apply on any broken skin.

SBC Witch Hazel & Zinc

I was worried with my already dry skin that it would dry out further using this but not at all. My skin was left feeling very smooth, cool and hydrated. My teenage son has started using it on breakouts with great results, and I am happy  to know that this pure, mild product is balancing out his natural skin PH and not stripping it and drying his skin out. If you do suffer from Acne prone skin then I would suggest using this daily as your moisturiser. If using this on the occasional breakout or blemish, then apply it at that first sign of a bump or redness. Although this product is green in the bottle it actually applies clear on the skin, and it has a faint herbal smell, which I was not bothered by, and when rubbed into my face and body I did not notice.

You can purchase this product from SBC HERE 500ML IS £34.50

Once opened this huge 500ml bottle has a 12 month shelf life. To read more of my Blogs about SBC products click HERE and HERE.

  3. Hi Sharon I will be buying some of this for my daughter. She is not a teenager, but has crohn's . She has to have an infusion every 6 weeks of a drug that causes really angry break out. Which she hates. I gave her propolis gel which is helping , but I'm sure this will help as well . Thank you for another brilliant blog xx sue Poole
