Quick party season "hair" fixes to get you out having fun fast!

Sometimes there can be nothing nicer than an impromptu invite out at the last minute when you have no other plans. But whilst its easy to slick on some lip gloss, apply some blush and mascara and that's our make up done, what about our hair or god-forbid, our brows arrrggghhh!

Simply Straight Ceramic Straightener & Hollywood Browzer

Well before you look in the mirror and turn down that invite because there is not two hours available for grooming, read on about these two products that I have tried out and think are fabulous for not only saving time, but achieving great results.

First up is the Hollywood Browzer.

Hollywood Browzer
This cute little gadget will come in so handy that you will wonder how you ever lived without it. I am completely and utterly obsessed with mine. Used and loved by celebrities and make up artists alike, this fab little beauty tool not only shapes your eyebrows and removes unwanted hair, quickly and pain free, it also removes any embarrassing peach fuzz from the side of the face, or hairs on the chin, without any harsh re-growth or leaving any redness. Not only does it remove hair in seconds from the face and body, but it also gently exfoliates the skin making skincare products and make up apply easier and look better.

The Hollywood browzer wand comes in a pack of two, with a little  travel sleeve. They can be slipped into your make up bag and handbag for any touch ups on the go from bikini line, to last minutes straggly brows you may notice in the rear view mirror. Each wand must be wiped after use to prevent hair and skin cells clogging it up and lasts about 2-3 months. Hair grows back exactly the same as it was on your face, no thicker, darker or coarser. I use mine all the time on the peach fuzz down the side of my cheeks and between my eyebrows and absolutely love it.

How to use -

HAIR WILL COME OFF INSTANTLY WITH VIRTUALLY NO PAIN, REDNESS OR IRRITATION LEAVING YOU WITH SILKY SMOOTH SKIN.

The second item that could be quite a time saver is the Simply Straight: Heated Ceramic Hair Straightener Brush -

Simply Straight
This ceramic coated brush from Ideal World is a super quick and easy way to achieve perfectly straight hair without having to use a separate brush and set of straighteners. The "brush" doesn't damage or burn the hair or leave those horrible lines on your hair. It is easy to gently brush it through  and achieve fab results.

Simply Straight

My hair is thick, wavy and waist length and it does work really well, but if i'm honest it works so much better on my sisters shoulder length hair. It does have quite a weight to it so I do think shorter, thinner hair would work better as it would be quicker.

Features:
  • Straight hair in just minutes
  • 2-in-1 (Brush and Straightener)
  • Reduction in hair damage
  • 3D Ceramic bristles
  • Limited flattening and frying
  • 30 second heat up
  • LED digital temperature display
  • 60 minute auto shut off
  • Temperature control – adjustable temperature up to 180°C
  • 6ft swivel cord
  • Limited flattening and frying

If you are looking to save time, every single day, or to get out of the door for a night out really fast, this is an absolute ideal product to use that gives great results. Available to purchase from Ideal World .
So with these two quick fixes, there really is no excuse not to go out and have fun :)

I would love to know if you have tried either of these products, leave me a comment below!

  1. Hi Sharon. I've tried the heated brush. It's quite a good 'quick fix' but didn't straighten my hair, which is very curly. I would describe it as tamed, rather than straightened. Vx
