Timebomb Biggest & Best Collection

PR Samples

Timebomb was created by the team that were the innovative driving force behind the John Frieda prescriptive hair care range and with a wealth of cosmetic history and knowledge under their belt, it was a match made in heaven. This award winning beauty range uses a recipe of formulas and technologies to help women “Stop the Clock”. Although I don’t think we need to stop it, we can certainly slow it down a little. I am super excited to share the Timebomb Biggest & Best Collection with you.

Take-Off Time Cleanse+Buff 200ml

timebomb cleanse+buff

I first tried this cleanser just over  four years ago and actually really enjoy it. Take off time Cleanse+Buff is a fantastic way to exfoliate the skin, without stripping it and leaving it feeling dry. Containing salon grade crystals this exfoliator is satisfying enough for you to feel and receive a deep cleanse but also gentle enough to use twice a day. I love a really great exfoliator and if I am in a hurry I mix a blob into my cleanser so to have a product do both these things is not only a time saver but works so well. Containing a plethora of good for the skin ingredient’s such as Borage Seed Oil, Shea butter, Sunflower seed oil, Lavender, Jojoba and much more, it really has a calming and hydrating effect on the skin. Easy to use twice daily to remove dirt, grime and make up, just add some to already damp skin and gently massage in, rinse and wipe away. I am always left with soft, beautiful glowing skin each time. It really does not disappoint. Formulated without any harsh Surfactants or detergents.

Complexion Cocktail with a shot of H20 Omega 150ml

” A flash flood of intensive Omegas and Humectants for skin that is withered, wilted…..sucked dry of essential moisture”

If your skin is naturally dry, dehydrated or struggles with indoor heating and outdoor climate changes, this product aims to repair the skins natural hydration barriers. As someone that has a very dehydrated skin due to medication and ageing, I have found this product to be incredibly hydrating. I have also noticed how it adds a lovely plumpness and almost dewy glow to the skin. Containing Chia Oil, Electrolyte-rich Coconut Oil and that all important Hyaluronic Complex, this powerhouse of a product is packed full of healthy Omegas and Essential Fatty Acids that the skin just loves. I adore the light Coconut fragrance and the silky feel of this on the skin and have been very pleasantly surprised by the results especially at this price point. Shake the bottle well before application. Apply to dry skin by pouring a small amount into the palm of your hand and gently massaging and patting into the face, neck and décolleté.

Collagen Bomb essential Skin Fuel 50ml

We all know that as we age our skin looses Collagen. This can lead to slackened, baggy skin. As our skin is made up of over 70% Collagen, it is very important to how our skin ages. Collagen Bomb from TimeBomb contains :
Pycnogenol, derived from the bark of Maritime Pine Trees found in the South of France, has been clinically proven when applied topically to help maintain skin’s structure by 1) binding to and reinforcing collagen 2) inhibiting collagen destruction 3) promoting better quality collagen 4) scavenging collagen-attacking free radicals
Padina Povanica brown algae, found to promote healthy collagen renewal and preserve the integrity of collagen fibers – and you all know how much I adore this ingredient!
Davilla Rugosa leaf extract, found to protect newly synthesized collagen
Borage Oil, found to enhance collagen production
Micro-collagen, found to deliver intense moisturization

What this intends to do is provide a firmer looking more lifted appearance to the skin. When I first tried this product four years ago, in its green packaging, I was amazed at the texture. It feels almost primer like in consistency and spreads beautifully over the skin. I use this after cleansing and my skin absolutely drinks it in. Whilst I have not noticed any huge differences in my skin with reference to lifting, my skin does appear brighter and feel very moisturised thanks to the Hyaluronic Acid. It is also a fantastic base for make up. Apply after cleansing and your complexion cocktail if using one.

Powerball Intensive Moisturiser 100ml

timebomb powerball moisturiser

A proprietary blend of Hyaluronic Acid and Aqua Cell Complex – Lentil, Watermelon and Apple extracts, make this moisturiser wonderful at locking hydration into a parched, dry, dehydrated skin. This has so many incredible ingredients in, that your skin will most definitely feel hydrated from the first application. Trehalose, which some of you may now recognise from many make up foundations, is included and helps the skin feel smooth and supple and Ectoin, which Ultrasun users will be aware of, has an extraordinary hydrating efficacy. All in all this moisturiser really is a powerful product that is so soft and silky upon application that also makes a wonderful base before make up and layers well over other products as part of your evening routine.

My Thoughts on this Collection

This Timebomb Biggest & Best Collection really is for anyone struggling with parched, dehydrated Winter skin, that wants light layers of hydration instead of anything heavy or oily. Wonderfully suited to all skin types and ages but works beautifully on a more mature, almost thinning skin due to the light weight feeling of the textures and the hydration it offers. With long term use you really will see a more youthful, hydrated glowing looking skin and I have always been pleasantly surprised when  I try this brand. A wonderful collection at a great price point for anyone that doesn’t want a overly complicated routine.
