This collection came about when Laura came across a piece of art that she had a real emotional connection with. As Make up is Laura’s art and the face is the canvas, she wanted to create a flawless set that could be our colour palette to creating endless beauty looks.

It is so lovely to have a collection that contains Laura’s Iconic Original Spackle. This beautifully, hydrating Primer, was the first primer I ever tried over 10 years ago and one that I always have a full stock of in my collection.

This cooling, hydrating gel formula, is a dream to use. It massages quickly and easily onto the skin and smooth’s out any uneven areas. It adds a beautiful veil of hydration thanks to the natural plant extracts and anti-oxidants and really gets the skin ready for the application of make up. Suits all skin types.

This Foundation is created from Liquid pigments which are Baked in Italy for 24 hours on Terracotta tiles. This means, as it starts out as a liquid even dry skin can use this without it causing further dryness, caking or any cracked look to the skin. Regular readers of mine may know that I have incredibly dehydrated skin, drier than the Sahara Desert, caused by medication. Therefore my 42 year old skin has to be very, very careful what it wears. I usually always choose a liquid foundation because of this, however I have been wearing Laura Geller B’n’B for many, many years without compromise.
Making sure my skin is moisturised well and primed before application, I swirl my brush into the marbled compact, picking up a little of each colour and buff it over my face. Instantly the light reflecting particle’s brighten my skin, the darker shades cover any blemishes and pigmentation and it colour corrects my skin whilst leaving a lovely, natural looking finish and even coverage . This foundation can be expertly applied by you in seconds! It is very easily buildable and you can pick out certain colours from the pan to give more coverage over a blemish, or use over the eyes and create your own bespoke look.

Laura Geller Eye shadows are absolutely incredible and if you read my Passport of Pretty Post, you will understand why. Due to their baked formula these can be used wet or dry, making the possibilities endless. You can use them in your brows, as eye liner, shadows, blush all sorts they are very versatile. The two shades in this little compact are really lovely. The lighter shade in Sunstone is the perfect inner corner, under the brow bone shade and the Bronze and brown hues in the bewitching bronze shade can be used as a wash of colour or stronger to add a lovely pop of colour. These shadows really do last all day and bring out the colours of the eyes. Very handy size with a little mirror making them pocket portable.

Now, I’m not scared of colour, ever, but I will admit that when I first saw this blush in the pan I was a little perplexed at the Autumnal blend of colours. I needn’t have worried, one quick swirl of my brush in this colourful pan picks up the perfect blend of shades that creates THE most flattering flush of pink. I really, really think this is a gorgeous blush and it really did surprise me. A little tip, also use these as your eye shadows for a very monochromatic look.

Rumour has it, this is Laura Geller’s favourite lip colour. With swirls of shades of deep pink, brown and bronze, it really does create a bespoke look on everyone. Unfortunately on me the colour doesn’t suit.

It has a sheen to it which seems to age my lips a little and the colour doesn’t suit my skin tone, however, it feels incredibly comfortable and moisturising on the lips and I wouldn’t let it detract me from purchasing this collection.
This collection also comes with a lovely double ended brush which is perfect for your foundation, blush and eye shadow and the whole collection comes gift boxed. If you are someone that likes minimal fuss with your make up collection and is looking for a warm toned shades to create a easy, Smokey look and definition to the face this is great for you. For me this is a collection I would happily purchase for my mum. My picks from this collection are the Spackle, Blush and Eye shadows.

The collection is gorgeous and the end result lovely ! I use spackle all the time but have never used any of Laura's other products. The foundation sounds right up my street as I have really dry skin too. The lipstick shade is fab for anytime wear and I think the eyeshadows are my perfect colour. It's good to see the original spackle back in a collection. It's still the one I prefer over all the other variations and I love B&B. The blush does look a little daunting but having seen it on you it's worth trying.
