Finally, Zoella creates a range for Grown ups! Splash Botanics has landed

Ok! Ok! Before a whole legion of Zoella fans come and lynch me, I just want to say I am a fan of the lady herself ( I mean who wouldn’t be? Everything she touches turns to gold, so good luck to her and some of her products are lovely), but we all know they have been branded for the teen market.

Zoella Splash Botanicals

For me, Splash Botanics is different. As soon as I heard about the range and the products included my ears pricked up and I began dreaming of hours of bath time pampering sessions. Don’t get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with any of Zoella’s other products and many of my friends love them and use them, but for me personally they were a little bit ‘Twee’. Splash Botanics, looks, feels and smells a bit more grown up and me and my 43 year old self have been enjoying the range since its launch last week.

In my opinion Splash Botanics encompasses all that is Summer, with refreshing aquatic notes and exotic fruits, this is most definitely a High Street range that you should try. I have tried three products from the current range of seven.

Drench Me Bubble Bath Soak 500ml

Zoella Drench Me Bubble Bath Soak 500ml

There is nothing I love more than a relaxing bath at the end of a long hard working day. Whether that is working in my office or being a mum, ‘me’ time is super important and is the epitome of  Back to you Beauty. The packaging is sleek and simple in a “juice carton” way, but it is the scent of the product that has me dreaming of sun drenched holidays on far away islands. It smells tropical, without being sweet or heady thanks to the uplifting aquatic notes with a hint of Coconut and a whisper of Lychee. The extracts of Coconut water add a level of hydration and the Lychee boosts skins radiance. If you love spa like scents, waterfalls, tropical beaches, you will adore this fragrance. The bath soak offers soft bubbles, that gently envelope the skin and lead to a lovely bathing experience, the fragrance hits the skin in a whisper and fills the bathroom, making it a perfect, pampering product. This does contain Sodium Laurel Sulphate so do be aware that for anyone with dry skin conditions this may not be suitable.

Make a Splash Moisturising Body Wash 160ml

Make a Splash Moisturising Body Wash 160ml

This is a beautifully moisturising body wash that feels very luxurious on the skin. Suitable for use in the bath or shower, when massaged into wet skin it creates an incredible soft foam that smells delightful and leaves the skin feeling soft, supple and hydrated. I have been loving this in the shower this past week in the Heatwave as it feels super cooling and smells lovely and fresh and uplifting. My only gripe, and it’s me being super fussy, is that I wish Zoe had stuck with the simple design as used on the bath soak, instead of adding the yellow lid, I think the range would have aesthetically flowed better. But that’s just me hahahaha.

Quench Me Body Sorbet 200ml

I am a huge fan of this tub of fluffy, mousse like body sorbet. It is absolutely divine and a must have during this hot, humid weather. Containing those same beautiful ingredients that run through the range : Hydrating extracts of Coconut Water and Radiance boosting Lychee, this feels like water on the skin. The texture is so hard to describe. It is super cooling and melts into the skin within seconds, leaving it feeling completely quenched and looking soft and radiant. Perfect for use after a tan as it leaves a beautiful sheen on the skin. My absolute Summer Must have.

In my opinion these products are a Summer delight. Not only are they super affordable and pretty much always on a 3-for-2 in Superdrug (you can purchase by clicking the photos below), but they are a gorgeous range. This is a super affordable piece of luxury that you can treat yourself to this Summer, so whether you are holidaying abroad or having a cheeky little Staycation, you can cocoon yourself in the essence of Splash Botanics and allow yourself to drift off somewhere special. I am hooked.

What do you think of this Splash Botanics Range from Zoella? Are you a fan or any of her other ranges? I would love to know so do please leave me a comment below.

These sound and look lovely, however, I've been disappointed with her beauty collection in the past so I think I'll give this a miss.

I still really don't like her, so I really don't want to support her, as much as the packaging is cute! Erin || MakeErinOver

I haven’t tried much from Zoella Beauty, though I did love her last range. I love the packaging here! It gives me summer vibes. I need to see what it smells like though before purchasing. I just cannot buy bodycare unless I’ve smelt it first x
