Having long been a fan of the Nina Ricci Be Delicious apple fragrances, especially the green one which was all I wore about twelve years ago, I knew I had to try Luna. Described as Ninas best friend, a temptress, captivating, daring and searching for a mystery, this is one sweet fragrance.
The bottle is incredibly cute and would make the most precious Christmas gift for a fragrance lover. The blue apple bottle comes with a detachable, wearable pom pom hairband, and the packing is fun, noticeable and quirky.
The fragrance, an Eau De toilette, has a sweet burst that literally makes my mouth water and with notes of Orange Blossom, Caramel and wild berries you can understand why. From that very first spritz it is a fun, flirty fragrance, that makes you smile, then as it warms you get those notes of Vanilla and Sandalwood making it a warming and sensual fragrance. This scent certainly has it all as it litearally starts fun and flirty and warms deep and sexy which is a very clever blend to achieve.
Whilst at first glance you may think this is a fragrance for teenagers, due to the bottle design with the Little Monster on the front and the wearable Pom Pom hair band, the fragrance tells another story. The Little Monster is only on one side of the bottle and once turned around you will note a very sophisticated, azure blue apple bottle with gold coloured hard-wear that shows a more mature sophistication.
I am captivated by this scent and would wear it more as an evening fragrance. It is beautiful and would be wonderful for those colder months.
