I don’t think any of us will forget the panic at the shortage of hand sanitiser last year. If you were lucky,  you might have  had some in the bottom of  your handbag or school bag.For others it was quite stressful tracking them down or paying ridiculous prices over on Auction sites. I’m sharing 5 Hand Sanitisers worth trying because i know so many of us find the constant use of these very drying on our skin.

With more and more beauty brands lending their labs and experience to creating hand sanitiser, there is now a wealth of choice. From the more luxurious packaging to the dam right practical there is a hand sanister for the whole family. Here are 5 Hand Sanitisers Worth Trying.

Carex Antibacterial Hand Sanitiser Spray

Carex Antibacterial spray sanitiser

Carex is the brand we use mostly in our home as a family and one i always used when my children were little. Hand sanitiser is just one of those products i have always had on me and i think because Carex do such a great range of novely sanitisers too, it’s always been easy to get my boys to use it regulalry. This recent launch from Carex is fantastically multi-purpose and has come in so, so, handy for use as a family during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This hand sanitiser spray is not only incredibly light and cooling on the skin, but it can also be used to spray surfaces. My son has one of these in his school bag as he can spray his desk at school before he sits at it. I keep one in my shopping bag to spray my trolley handle and this was also the sanitiser i took into hospital when i had my surgeries. I was able to spray my hospital trays, door handles etc and it gave me great piece of mind. It is a fine, light quick drying mist that is fragrance free, contains the 70% alcohol protection and kills 99.99% of bacteria and viruses. As it is a spray it doesn’t leave the hands sticky which is a plus for me. Brilliant, brilliant product. Available HERE ( on special price at the time of writing)

Emma Hardie Moisturising Hand Sanitiser

If a “normal” Gel sanisiter leaves your hands feeling dry and parched, you may really enjoy this luxurious “lotion” type sanitiser from Emma Hardie. Antiviral and Antibacterial this santiser not only kills 99.9% of viruses and bacteria, but feels less sticky and more hydrating that other sanitisers. Containing that all important 70% alcohol to destroy those viruses, this is also loaded with Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and protect the skins barrier and also contains Tea Tree and Eucalyptus, not only for their antibacterial properties but also for a more pleasent aroma. Of course you pay more for these ingredients but it looks pretty in your handbag and feels less stringent than other high street sanitisers. Comes in a handbag friendly 60ml size or a family 240ml size. Both available HERE

This Works Stress Check Clean Hands

Stress check clean hands

This is a fantastic addition to the This Works Stress Check Range which i already know and love ( the stress check breath in is incredible and the CBD face shield is a must have under face coverings). Super affordable this gel sanitiser contains a hydrating blend of Hyaluronic Acid along with “A Superblend complex of essential oils combines Lavender, Camomile and Neroli to help soothe the skin”. Containing 70% alcohol this kills 99.9% of bacteria whilst promoting that feeling of calm and relaxation thanks to the inclusion of Essential Oils. This is a great one to have when travelling or going to busy places if you feel a bit anxious as the 98% natural formula is very soothing on the mind as well as the hands. Available HERE

SBC Lemon Myrtle & Thyme Hand Cleansing Gel

SBC Lemon myrtle and Thyme hand sanitiser

If you love a fresh Hand Sanitiser, you will love this! Yes it still has that alcohol smell but with a kicking citrus backing it up. I love SBC so were super excited when they created hand sanitisers last year. So far this is my Favourite of theirs as i love the fragrance and find it super uplifting. Containing over 60% alcohol and Macadamia Oil and Glycerin this feels quite nourishing on the hands. Available HERE

Loreal Paris Hand Sanitiser Gel

Loreal Hand Sanitiser

Another sanitiser i have previously used and loved is the Loreal Hand Sanitiser. I love the size and shape of this bottle. It doesnt feel harsh on the skin and offers that no rinse protection. Containing 70% Alcohol and enriched with Glycerin it leaves the hands feeling comfortable and not too dry. At the time of writing this product is included in the May Look Fantastic Beauty Box HERE otherwise it is Available HERE

Seeing as Hand Sanitisers are often in demand and have become the norm now, i thought this round up of 5 Hand Sanitisers Worth Trying would come in quite handy (pardon the pun). I have included sanitisers for families, handbags and travel within all budgets. Let me know if you found this useful and also if there is a hand sanitiser you are really enjoying at the moment. Thanks for reading and stay well.
