No 7 have launched their incredibly aesthetic and affordable Good Intent skincare range with loud fanfare and to high applaud. Whilst the colourful packaging is really on trend right now… are they any good?

No.7 Good Intent Skincare Range

With , what at first glance seems like a trend led range with the lean towards glass skin and Korean inspired skincare,  it can be difficult to know who this brand would be best for. With 8 products at launch, they seem to have covered all basis with something for everyone – however, with the inclusions of Silicones like Dimethicone to give that smooth silky feel ( which personally I don’t mind) I know not everyone enjoys that feeling.

That being said I can only comment on the three products I have personally been trialling.

Glow Grind Cleansing Balm £12.95

Good Intent Cleansing Balm

The buttery, soft balm cleanser is great at easily and gently removing make up without any tugging of the skin. I really enjoyed the texture and feel of this balm and thanks to the inclusion of  Vitamin C and Squalane the skin is left feeling hydrated and with a lovely glow, making it a great option for dry or dehydrated skin . However, and  I might be the only person to say this…. I just don’t like the “grind” component. I know its much more hygienic than dipping your fingers into a pot but with a broken shoulder I really, really struggled to get the grind to work. This then lead me to wonder how anyone with dexterity issues may also get on with it? Aside from that it’s a lovely and easy cleanser to use. Available HERE

Skin Sip Moisture Milk £14.95

Good Intent Skin Slip Milk Moisture

I am really impressed with this product. To me this performs like a milky essence and is great used after cleansing and before moisturising. It doesn’t contain Ceramides so is not really a skin barrier support product but the Squalane and Hyaluronic make this a great hydrating milk that drip feeds the skin throughout the day and layers well with other products. I also find it sits well under make up. Available HERE

Bouncy Jelly Mask £14.95

Good Intent Bouncy Jelly Mask

If you enjoy a cooling face mask that adds hydration and sits well with other hydrating skincare products then give this a go. I did like the cooling nature of this mask and the slip factor thanks to the silicones and too be fair my skin did feel so much softer after use, I just don’t like the packaging of the lid with the fake crystal but that is neither here nor there. Available HERE

I think this is a really lovely range from No.7, especially for the price point and they do have a selection of products that will give a good and concise skincare regime as long as you know your skin type and what your skin needs. You can shop the range below.

I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Please leave me a comment below.

Thanks for reading xxx
