Last Thursday (3 November 2016) I was invited to the opening of the Urban Decay Flagship London store on Carnaby Street. (Thanks Urban Decay and Gemma at FlutterandSparkle)

Before you expect lots of photos of shiny new products let me just explain, these are few and far between because the event was absolutely hat-racked by the time I arrived at 8pm. It was the European Flagship Store Launch Party, Bloggers event, Celebrity hangout and Nightclub all rolled into one. If Celebrity Dj’s, Reality television stars, Purple candy floss, Popcorn, and Moet are your thing then you would have been well at home here.
Before Gemma and I turned the corner into Carnaby Street we could hear the music pumping and see the Urban Decay Purple lights reflecting everywhere. After passing the security guards, photographers and step’n’ repeat, we made in into the Bright neon lit, uber trendy, colourful, party atmosphere of the 1000sq Ft Boutique. This store is spread out over two floors and looks incredibly funky. Upstairs at street level the walls were lined with many of our favourite UD palettes such as the Naked(s), Vice and Spectrum, as well as gorgeous eye pencils and highlighters galore, it really was a spectacular affair. As Chloe Sim’s and Chloe Lewis from ‘Towie’ mingled effortlessly with Anais Gallagher, Denise Van Outen and Laura Whitmore, we all had one thing in common and that was Make Up!

Down stairs is spectacularly geared up for Social media, with an Instagram Trend wall, phone charging stations and Selfie backdrop ready for that perfect photo. You can touch up your make up look at the make up stations which are expertly lit with Ring Lights. It really is every bloggers dream! Urban Decay certainly know how to get the word out. It is totally different to any other make up Boutique that I have been in before and whilst it is bright and loud and bang on trend it fits perfectly into its Carnaby Street surroundings.

I cannot wait to go back and take a good look at all the product when it is not as busy and join in and have even more fun. I really recommend you visit next time you are in London!
