Real Techniques Ultimate Base set – Because it’s all about that blend!

There is nothing I love more than a good Superdrug haul! Its one of my favourite places to shop for all things beauty. It is super affordable, on the high street and pretty much always has great offers on beauty brands so it really is  win, win!!

Real Techniques Ultimate Base Set

If you follow me on Instagram you will often see me posting on my Instasories, my shopping trips to Superdrug. I am always in there purchasing new brushes, make, up perfume etc. One collection that recently caught my eye was from one of my favourite make up brush brands Real Techniques. The Ultimate Base Set, is perfect for anyone wanting that super flawless base in a hurry. Yes you can blend with your fingers, but to be honest, it can be messy and you really don’t get that perfect finish that you do with these synthetic brushes and sponge. The Ultimate base set is perfect for beginners or make up pros, as it contains three must have base items, including their best sellers.

Expert Face Brush :

Expert Face Brush

I must have about three of these brushes because they genuinely are my go to for foundation. These are the perfect brush for buffing in liquid or cream foundations. The firm, but fluffy brush, makes short work of evenly spreading foundation over the face and down the neck. It has a lovely weight to it which makes it very comfortable to hold and looks pretty too. A brush that I would recommended all day everyday.

Miracle Complexion Sponge :

Miracle Complexion Sponge

This sponge is perfect for blending out foundation over a larger area, giving a more fuller coverage. It easily gets to work in the crevices of the face too, which I love. With its rounded side, flat edge and precision tip you can work quickly and expertly under the eyes, around the nose area and over the face. I like to wet mine, then squeeze all the water out and apply my foundation whilst the sponge is damp. Super soft when pounced on the face, this really makes applying foundation a breeze.

Sponge Stand :

Sponge Stand

This is such a handy item to have. You can stand your complexion sponge up in the stand after use to allow it to dry and get ventilation, without laying it down on a dirty surface. Plus, if like me you always loose your sponges, this is a great way of keeping it to hand.

Deluxe Concealer Brush:

Deluxe Concealer Brush

Another favourite brush of mine is this one. The deluxe concealer brush is super fluffy, makes applying concealer under the eyes or around the nose a dream, as it blends in beautifully, and washes and dries easily. I also like to use this brush as an eyeshadow crease brush and sometimes to apply setting powder under my eyes. This is such a versatile brush to add to your collection.

This collection really is a must have in my opinion as it really does make short work of applying your base products and giving them that flawless, expert finish. Available from Superdrug at an incredible price you can purchase this HERE
