I don’t know about you but i suddenly feel like we have skipped Autumn and hit Winter, it’s bloody f. My skin and lips are suddenly feeling parched so i wanted to share 5 Hydrating Lip prodcts with you, that are perfectly portable and handy to carry around, if you are feeling the same.

5 Hydrating Lip Products

Keeping your lips hydrated is something everyone should be doing. Not only because it feels and looks more comfortable, but because it can also prevent lines and wrinkles forming. The colder (or hotter) the weather, the more we tend to lick our lips and thus loose moisture. This can cause our lips to become sore, dry and cracked. Therefore finding a nice hydrating lip product is an essential for me to prevent all of the above.

I have lip balms dotted around everywhere, my desk, my handbag and my coat pocket. Recently i have been testing out lots of different ones and here are my current top 5 Hydrating Lip products.

Emma Hardie Amazing Lip Balm £14.00

Emma Hardie Amazing Lip Balm

Not only is the packaging of this New Launch Lip balm, super pretty, but the balm itself is incredibly hydrating and moisturising. The little compact also has a mirror inside so it is super handy for slipping into your handbag for on-the-go application. Containing Cocoa Butter to reduce dryness, Shea butter to deeply sooth and moisturise the lips and Antioxidant Vitamin E, this balm is immediatly cooling and soothing upon application. It has a lovely buttery glide factor to easily swipe across the lips and also contains the famouse Moringa Oil for even more hydration and Peppermint Oil for a minty scent. I also love to apply this to my cuticles to keep them looking and feeling soft and smooth. Really, really enjoying this new launch! Available HERE

Elemis Ultra Conditioning Lip Balm £17.95

Elemis Ultra Lip Conditioning Balm

I don’t know where i have been or what i have been doing, but i only discoverd this balm about six months ago and purchased it immediatly. In a lovely easy-to-use tube this is the one that sits next to my computer in my office and i reach for all the time. In fact it’s practically empty now and has lasted me all this time. Super minty fresh, this contains Mango Butter Oil and a blend of Elemis Biolipid Complex to smooth the lips and work on those fine lines. I love the freshness of this and how smooth and hydrated it makes my lips feel. Available HERE

Alpha H Absolute Lip Perfector in Nude Blush £20.00

Alpha H Absolute Lip Perfector Rose Nude

Launched earlier this year, this is a lovely wash of colour in a lip Balm. Hit with a slight minty formula, this chic pink lip balm from Alpha H has the most beautiful packaging and the smoothest formula. It comes in a handy tube with a great prescision applicator and honestly leaves the lips feeling so smooth and supple. Personally i like to use this with a lipliner, when i want a no-make-up, make-up look. Available HERE

Image Ormedic Balancing Lip Enhancing Complex £18.45

Image Ormedic Lip Conditioner

If you are not a mint fan, then you will love this. It has a slightly thicker formula than the others, but is super hydrating and moisturing. This really smoothes and plumps the lips and i apply this more as a lip mask of an evening and take it over the lip line to help with those fine vertical ageing lines that i have. Each morning my lips feel almost glass smooth and kissably soft.  This also “Features an anti-ageing complex that enables firmer and fuller lips. Helps to repair chapped lips and provides lasting hydration.” Available HERE

Keap Sofi Lip Cinnamon £7.95

keap soft lip cinnamon

If you love a more Holistic, natural approach to your products, i think you will really enjoy the Keap Sofi Lip Cinnamon stick. The formula has an almost oil feel to it but not in a horribly, slippery way, in a super hydrating way. It has a hint of Cinammon which is so slight as i cannot barely smell or taste it. Made with only 5 active ingredients (including Beeswax) this is a wonderful formula for soothing even the most chapped, cracked, sore parched lips. If you love the classic lip balm style packaging and want something inexpensive that you can use all the time, this would be a great choice. Available HERE

I use and enjoy all of these Lip Balms, and find they are great at keeping my lips looking fuller, my lipstick appies better and my fine less appear less visable. I hope you have enjoyed reading about my current favourite 5 Hydrating Lip Products, especially as we head into a new season.

I would love to hear some of your favourite products, please do leave me a comment below.

Have a great day,
