Nudeskin by Nudestix – Vegan Skincare

For as much as 2020 sucked for all of us on a personal level, there really were some incredible launches in the beauty world. Last October I was lucky enough to attend (virtually) the launch of  Nudeskin by Nudestix – Vegan Skincare. I have spent the past 12 weeks testing, trialling and using this brand so that I could give you a thorough over view. I think you are going to love it.

Nudeskin is a completely Vegan skincare brand with efficacy and simplicity at its heart. No matter your skincare concern, oily, dehydrated, combination, dry, Nudeskin believe they have a product for everyone. Gender-neutral, this brand prides itself on i’s ability to give everyone their best skin and the confidence to bare their skin whilst not only achieving immediate results but long term ones too. By using Vegan-powered actives, eco-conscious packaging and collaborating with a leading dermatologist, Nudeskin have created something quite wonderful.

Citrus Clean Balm & Wake Up Melt

This really is a beautifully fresh and uplifting aromatherapy cleansing balm. Housed in a pretty and very practical  pink tube this is perfect for storing the product and keeping it clean. This balm melts beautifully on the skin removing make up, impurities, SPF, dirt and grime and leaves the skin super clean but also incredibly fresh, soft and plump. It is an absolute joy to use both morning and evening and the scent is super fresh and uplifting. As you all know I am absolutely a balm girl and have been loving using this.

• Sulfate-free gentle Olive Oil-based cleanser
• Rose Hip Fruit Oil: Rich in Vitamin A and fights against aging by boosting skin hydration and collagen production
• Litsea Cubeba Fruit Oil (May Chang Oil) : Citrus essential oil to help detoxify pores, balance sebum, rejuvenate skin and refresh the mind
• Orange Peel Oil: Natural antiseptic and anti-inflammatory
• Rosemary Leaf Oil: Natural antibacterial and detoxifier for congested pores
• Eucalyptus Leaf Oil: Skin purifier, cleanser, and clarifier
• Salvia Hispanica (Chia) Seed Oil: Highly skin-absorbing moisturizer to hydrate skin
• Lavender Oil: Natural skin calming agent
• Neroli Oil (Bitter Orange Flower) : Aromatherapy to reduce stress and anxiety
• Apple Fruit Extract: Powerful antioxidant to protect skin from free-radical damage and contains natural malic acid (AHA) to gently exfoliate and brighten skin.

If you love a balm cleanser and are looking for something new to try, I think you will love this. Please note it does contain Lavender Oil.

Gentle Hydra Gel Face Cleanser

Another really nice and easy cleansing product. This water based gel is fresh, leaves the skin hydrated and cleanses the skin quickly and gently whilst removing everything. This product works well on a sensitive skin too and can be taken over the eyes to remove makeup. It leaves the skin feeling plump and juicy and also has antiseptic properties. Wonderful on all skin types but works particularly well on a blemish prone skin.

• Bergamot Fruit Oil has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory benefits to deep clean pores and helps reduce the appearance of blemishes

• Hyaluronic Acid softens and moisturizes skin tone
• Humectants keep skin hydrated
• Mushroom extracts brighten skin
• Cicer Seed Extract brightens and improve skin tone and texture

Lemon-Aid Detox & Glow Micro Peel

The glow my skin has after using this product is just beautiful. This Chemical Peel contains fruit acids and extracts to gently slough away the dead skin. You can practically see the dead skin rolling off the face as the Enzyme Peeling action gets to work. Gentle but effective on the skin this is powered by Vitamin C and Lemon Oil which boost the skin and adds a ethereal brightening effect. I really enjoy this product and get lovely smooth skin after each use. Wonderful to use a couple of times a week.

• Lemon Peel Oil: Brightens skin and provides re-energizing aroma
• Papaya Extract: Rich in papain, an enzyme that chemically breaks down protein to remove dead skin cells
• Apple & Pomegranate Fruit Extracts: Powerful antioxidants that protect skin from free-radical damage and contains natural malicacid (AHA) as a gentle skin exfoliant that cleans and brightens skin
• Ascorbyl Tetraisopalmitate: Extremely stable oil-soluble Vitamin C that boosts collagen production, reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation, and brightens skin
• Niacinamide: Minimizes large pores, improves uneven skin tone, softens fine lines, and brightens dull skin
• Pyrus Malus (Apple) Peel Extract: Helps eliminate dirt and oils from pores and exfoliates dead skin cells
• Hyaluronic Acid: softens and moisturizes skin
• Vegan derived Cellulose Peel: Gently exfoliates skin to allow moisturizers to deeply hydrate the skin

5% Citrus Fruit & Glycolic Toner

Another favourite product from this range for me is this 5% Citrus & Glycolic Toner. I think that if you have a thinning skin that wants to love a Glycolic, this could work well. I adore this pump style packaging, it just makes its so easy to use the product and the toner works well at accelerating the skins renewal process. Formulated with 3% Glycolic this is a more gentle Glycolic than some others.

Boosted by the power of the 2% fruit acid complex (Grape, Lime, Lemon, Apple & Orange) this leaves the skin with a beautiful, clean natural glow.  Hyaluronic boosts hydration and adds to the juiciness of the skin (that is technical term hahaha) This works wonderfully on my mature skin and leaves it feeling soft, smooth and glowing. I really enjoy this product. Please note this also contains Lavender Oil.

Citrus-C Mask and Daily Moisturiser

Containing Fermented Yuzu Oil which is high in Vitamin C, this light weight moisturiser, mask and Primer is a great multitasking product. For me personally on my dehydrated skin, its not moisturising enough, however, I enjoy it as a face mask for added brightening and soothing on my skin. Its light texture also works well as a primer as it leaves the skin velvety smooth and make up does glide effortlessly over it. Containing Turmeric this is again great on an inflamed or acne prone skin as it has calming, soothing and anti-inflammatory  properties.

I have really enjoyed using Nudeskin by Nudestix – Vegan Skincare and love that it works on all ages and stages of skin. My favourite products in the range are the cleansing balm and the Glycolic and I think they work well on a more mature skin. The packaging is beautiful and the fact that it is Vegan and has recyclable packaging is wonderful. If you are looking for something new, that works really well, adds a great brightening effect to the skin, this is perfect.
