Calling all Geller Girls and Boys! Laura Geller Beauty launch new Base Products and I am excited to share them with you. If you are looking to revamp your make up bag a little and give it a freshen up then keep reading.
It seems to have been a minute since I featured something new from Laura Geller here, on the blog so I am very excited to share these products with you. Spackle Skin Perfecting Primer Hydrate 59ml
Spackle is Laura’s World Famous Make Up Primer, it comes in an array of formulas, with Champagne being my favourite. This new Primer, hydrates, adds a glow but most importantly makes make up last all day. Last year Laura Geller Beauty launched the Timeless Skin Spackle which fast became my favourite so I was super excited to try this new Hydrate version. As someone with dehydrated skin this called my name instantly. If you have dry, flaky or dehydrated skin and your make up clings in patches or disappears, you will enjoy this primer.
Containing Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerine and Antioxidant Botanical ingredients, this hydrating formula creates a smooth canvas for make up whilst hydrating the skin. At first it feels quite mattifying on the skin but really does blur the look of pores and holds make up beautifully. I love the pump packaging of these newer spackles and am really enjoying these new hybrids . Available HERE
Timeless Skin Cream Compact Foundation 12g
Ok… Where to begin, I have a love hate relationship with this foundation. First off, it comes in a cute compact with a sponge, which, in my opinion, wipes off more product than it puts on so I got rid of that asap. I have found that when my skin is good, and by good I mean hydrated, smooth and has had all the dead skin cells buffed and sloughed off, this is a real nice foundation. When my skin is not in tip top condition, this does have a tendency to sit in the pores and around any dry skin – so the hydrating spackle or any primer is an absolute must.
Also I have found that the best form of application for this foundation is by using my fingers, which is something I don’t usually like to do, however the warmth of the fingers makes this cream foundation melt beautifully into the skin giving it incredible coverage. I use a tapping motion and within seconds all redness, discolouration and any blemishes are completely erased as if by magic. I was sent the shade Light which is waaaaaay too light for me so I think I will use this as an under eye concealer. Containing Primrose Oil, Vitamin E and Sunflower oil this is a hydrating foundation so if you are a more oily skin type make sure you use a mattifying primer. The coverage lasts all day, and it is a very light weight foundation. Available HERE
The Real Deal Concealer Advanced 12ml
If you were a fan of the original Real Deal Concealer, its time to put that aside and welcome the new and improved formula. Real Deal advanced contains a plethora of skincare ingredients to hydrate and brighten the under eye area. Suitable for use on blemishes, marks and under the eye you need the smallest amount as it is very pigmented.
” This new advanced formula is packed with antioxidants and nourishing ingredients like vitamin A and E, Centella Asiatica, and White Tea extracts to protect and condition your complexion.”
