I am not going to lie, this Limited Edition Collection from Nars has been launched a few months, however due to various hospital stays and operations, I’m late in sharing it with you on the blog, I did share a while back on my Instagram . Inspired by Francois Nars mother Claudette, this collection reflects how his mother ” embodied refined glamour during the ’70s.” His original muse, Francois was applying make up on his mother when he was 13 years old.

Claudette St Germain Des Pres Eyeshadow Palette

The packaging of this collection is absolutely beyond pretty. It not only encompasses love and life but glamour and the love of make up. This Limited Edition palette contains six beautifully rich pigments in Matte, Shimmer and Satin finishes. The shadows swipe across the eye so softly, leaving a beautifully smooth look. Easily buildable you can use your fingers or brushes to create so many looks. At first glance you may think this is a palette just to be used to create more dramatic evening looks, but the warm neutrals in the matte shades, paired with the delicate satins create  very wearable daytime looks too. I am absolutely loving playing with this palette. I featured it back in January/February in one of my Instagram Lives for #SharonsLockdownLooks and showcased the ease of application with no fall out. A very beautiful palette that will make you smile every-time you look at it.

Audacious Lipstick in shade Claudette

Available in four wearable shades, the Audacious lipstick is very comfortable. I purchased the shade Claudette which is a gorgeous Rust Red Shade. The packaging with the hearts is just beautiful, it’s weighty and feels luxurious to hold. The bullet has the Nars logo embossed on it making you not want to use it – its so pretty, but once you do you will be hooked. The formula of the Lipstick is buttery soft and one swipe lays down pure bold pigment. I absolutely love this, but if you are not sure on a bold red you should give this a try, as it has that perfect orange hue, that adds a hit of colour without being to gauche.

I would thoroughly recommend this collection as a gift to anyone that loves make up. Not only does the collection look beautiful but it is so easy to wear and work with on a daily basis.
