If you are someone that has oily skin, it can sometimes be hard to keep it under control whilst keeping your skin looking healthy and with a natural glow. I was recently sent a collection that i wanted to share with you. This collection contains 3 Steps to Balanced Skin with OLE HENRIKSEN and their 3 piece Balance it all Collection.
The OLE HENRIKSON Balance it all Oil Control and Pore Refining Set contains a cleanse, tone and moisturise routine that aims to keep shine and pores in check and maintain hydration without stripping the skin. This is a great first-step-into-skincare collection that has the basics that you need to keep the skin cleansed, toned, oil free and hydrated.
During his own struggle with cystic acne, Ole had firsthand experience with harsh oil control cleansers that left skin feeling stripped. He wanted to create an alternative that is a joy to use.
Included in this three piece collection are the following items:
Find your balance oil control cleanser 60ml
As someone with a dehydrated skin, i always knew this collection wasn’t for me but speaking to lots of people that have used it and still trying it on myself, i can see what all the fuss is about. If you love a foam cleanser you will fall in love with this. A little goes a long way and it foams up into a light creamy cleanser.
The scent is quite astringent and is due to the inclusion of potent active botanicals—Green Tea, Eucalyptus, Algae (kelp) Irish moss extracts and Neem seed oil, but it is easy to get used to. Not only does this cleanser remove excess surface oil but the Glycolic and Lactic Acid combination allow it to gently lift away dull, dead skin cells and produce a more smooth, glowing looking skin. A really nice cleanser for anyone struggling with an oily skin, blocked pores and acne breakouts.
Balancing Force Oil Control Toner 65ml
I think for many oily prone people this toner will be a stand out product, although i am most definitely of the mind that you will achieve greater results using this collection in its entirety.
After cleansing pour some of this astringent toner onto a reusable cotton pad and swipe across the T Zone and any areas that you want mattifying and the oil to be controlled. This toner is a blend of BHA and AHAs-Salicylic, Glycolic and Lactic Acids and Neem seed oil. It gently unclogs, purifies and minimizes the appearance of pores. It has that same Eucalyptus scent as the cleanser and does not dry the skin out at all, to be honest i have used it a few times down my nose and it leaves the skin feeling clean and hydrated.
Cold Plunge Pore Remedy Moisturizer 15ml
This moisturiser is an exciting new launch from Ole Henriksen so to get it in this 3 piece set at a fantastic 15ml trial size is incredible. First off can i just say that this under make up is insane!! I will most definitely be adding this to my make up kit for any brides that want a mattified look. Secondly it is so lightweight on the skin yet fills in pores beautifully.
It is cooling ( actually its cold, cold, cold hahaha) it is hydrating and it completely controls oil. This oil free moisturiser contains Salicylic acid and works at balancing the skin as you wear it. Suitable for oily and combination skins this is a must have for anyone that wants their skin under control, balanced, hydrated and smooth.
I am so impressed with this 3 Steps to Balanced Skin with OLE HENRIKSEN collection. I think it is a fantastic way to try out these products, especially a new launch and at such an affordable price. The 3 Steps to Balanced Skin with OLE HENRIKSEN is available HERE right now at a fantastically discounted price.
Have you tried anything from the Ole Henriksen range before? I would love to hear from you, do leave me a comment below.
I’ve tried the Cold Plunge mask which I really love. Think i am going to get this as I’m finding just now I am more oily and with the mask wearing congestion around my chin is becoming a problem again. I have tried the banana primer which I love and also the eye cream in the same range which is also fab. Fab blog post.
Oh wow you really are a OH fan!! Thanks so much for your comment, its really good to hear your thoughts on this range xx
