With sustainability at the forefront of their minds Kiehls have launched their concentrated cleansing bars. Providing targeted skincare solutions three solid cleansing bars have been released and i have two here which I have been trying.
Each bar is over 96% biodegradable and contains at least 1 renewable or fairly traded ingredient. Plus each bar is also formulated with 5 x less water than a Kiehls liquid cleanser, creating a more targeted product and minimal waste. Each round bar is incredible solid and doesn’t crumble when wet, comes in recyclable cardboard packaging and is for all skin types.
I have the Calendula Calming & Soothing Concentrated Cleansing Bar for Normal to Oily Skin and the Ultra Facial Hydrating Concentrated Cleansing Bar for all skin types including sensitive. These are super creamy on the skin, gently cleanse without stripping the skins barrier or upsetting the skins PH and lather from a solid bar to a creamy foam easily. I used the one for Normal skin and my dehydrated, mature skin did feel quite dry after, so I did have to pack on the Hyaluronic Hydration after so do bare that in mind. Personally I think these would work wonderfully on a more oily prone skin.
Perfect for travelling as they are not a liquid, these are a must have in your wash bag this Summer.
