If you are someone that likes to update their make up with the seasons, (and lets be honest, who really needs an excuse for a make up splurge?) then look no further than the incredible new Autumn releases from GOSH.
GOSH Autumn Make Up Launches
Launched recently, this core range of products is a beautiful way to warm up your look for the colder weather and party season. If you read and enjoyed my previous post on Gosh cosmetics (HERE) then I think you will enjoy some of these items too.
Primer Plus Skin Adaptor Anti-Pollution Chameleon
This is a great product! Not only does it work well as a primer that smoothes the skin and prepares it for foundation, but it ‘magically’ adapts to your skin tone which creates a flawless base. This product is just genius and a must have in my opinion. It gives the skin a beautifully hydrated feel whilst also protecting it against free radicals and pollution and adapts to your skin tone giving you a beautifuly even toned look. For someone like me that struggles with pigmentation, this is not enough coverage – however, a fresher skin would benefit from using it. As a primer, for me to wear on a “no make up, make up day” love it.
GOSH Eyeshadow Primer in Nude
Now, I cannot tell a lie, I do remain eternally faithful to my Air Patrol Eye primer from Benefit as it is incredibly creamy, but if you are on a budget and want to pay £8.99 as opposed to £24.99, you could give this a try. An eye shadow primer is a great way to add longevity to your eyeshadows as it quite literally clings to the shadows making then crease less and last all day. A great concealer can work in just the same way but if you really want this extra product and on a budget you could try this. On my mature, dry, creapy lids, it did tug a little as I applied it so I prefer to apply it to my finger then my eyelid and gently blend it out. This is a waterproof formula so great for someone sporty, or if you are on holiday and I did notice that it kept my eyeshadows bright and vibrant all day long. Not an absolute essential from this brand in my opinion but a nice little addition.
9 Shades Eyeshadow Palette To Party In London –
GOSH 9 Shades Eyeshadow Palette To Party In London
This palette stood out to me straight away and is the quickest and easiest way to transform your make up into those festive, party looks. Worth its weight in gold for any ages and skin tones that enjoy a metallic finish and for only £11.99 I think it is a total bargain. Full of 9 gloriously pearly and metallic shades in a blend of finishes this really suits its “To party in London” name as it screams fun! The palette is a perfectly portable size with a lovely, clear mirror inside and sleek black packaging. The shadows are highly pigmented, each and every one and as long as you tap the brush after application, there is little to no fall out.
GOSH 9 Shades Eyeshadow Palette To Party In London
With tones scaling through from Soft rose, browns and gold tones through to greys and the all important Smokey shades, this is a palette you will reach for time and time again over the party season. Not only are these beautifully creamy shadows but they also make fab eyeliner too. I do really like this palette however, as I have hooded, puffy lids, I cannot wear these shades all over as it draws attention to the parts I like to disguise, but I do love to cherry pick certain shades to add to a more matte look. In the photo below I am only wearing this palette.
GOSH My Favourite Mascara
Having previously tried a Gosh mascara, I kind of sit on the fence with them. I just think that there are so many incredible mascaras on the high-street right now, that it has to be something special. This mascara is supposed to be perfect for that everyday look where you don’t necessarily want big, fat lashes and just want a pop of colour to open the eyes. I found that is does offer a lovely separated look to the lashes but the formula felt a little dry as those it would run out after a few days. However as a bottom lash mascara I absolutely love it. To be fair I want big fat lashes all day everyday, but if you want a quick swipe of colour that gives a natural look and is washable in 38 degree warm water, then go for it.
GOSH Prime n Set Mattifying Banana Powder
This is a 2-in-1 yellow toned banana setting powder that is suitable for all skin tones as it magically melts into the skin. Completely perfume and paraben free this is a lovely silky feeling setting powder that works well at not only colour correcting any redness or dark circles, but also at mattifying any shine and minimising the look of pores. A great product for ‘Baking’ under the eyes which is how I use it on my dehydrated skin, I apply a thick layer under my eyes and over my concealer, leave it to sit a while and then brush away, leaving my under eye area looking smooth and flawless. Also great to use to tone down a foundation that is too glowy. Works well with a setting spray over the top too as it does not ball up or cake. A fabulous Banana powder at a great price. Love it.
GOSH LumiDrops in shade Rose Gold
If you read my previous post (HERE) where I featured the GOSH Lumidrops, you will know how much I enjoy them. These highly pigmented liquid highlighters are a best seller for GOSH and its easy to see why. The tiniest drop of colour is all that is needed to create the most beautiful veil of radiance on the skin. These can be easily blended into the skin alone or on top of foundation or even mixed into your foundation to give it that extra hit of highlight. I love to use these on my cheekbones, brow bone and down the centre of my nose for a very pretty, youthful glow. Wouldn’t be without these.
GOSH Strobe n Glow Kit
If you love, love, LOVE your highlighter shades then you will really enjoy this collection. Containing four beautiful highlights shades consisting of one holographic highlighter and three golden bronze shades this is just beautiful. The shades are enough to give you that seen from space look if that is what you want, as they are completely buildable, or you can use them more lightly to add a more sophisticated hint of light. The holographic shade is perfect for use in that inner eye corner. I absolutely love this, but then I am a highlight girl. This compliments the Eyeshadow palette beautifully.

Below is a untouched photo of me wearing only the products I have spoken about on this post. As you can see I do need more coverage over my wrinkles foundation wise, but I hope it gives you an idea of these products on me, a 42 year old haha!
