Bareminerals launch the Bounce & Blur Make Up Collection

PR Product

I Love Bareminerals Products, it is a brand I reach for every single day. Complexion Rescue Foundation is a staple in my make up wardrobe and the Serum Concealer is my favourite in the world. Whenever they release something new I get so excited and cannot wait to share it with you.

Bareminerals Bounce and Blur Dusk Palette

Known for their no nonsense, clean approach to make up and skincare, this is a brand that really can be used from those in there early teens and beyond. A brand that uses only the best formulas and ingredients and believes that all skin types and concerns should be able to use their product without compromise. Bareminerals is constantly expanding and exploring trends in a way that makes it easy for everyone to use and enjoy, an inclusive brand that is much loved on my blog.

Bareminerals Bounce and Blur launch

Today I am sharing a couple of beautiful new launches with you that i think you will love, especially if you want a fuss free look, have no time to spend on long make up application or are just experimenting with make up.

Bounce & Blur Eyeshadow Palette in Dusk

Bareminerals Bounce and Blur Dusk Palette

This five shadow pan palette is super sleek in design and feel. The soft, Matte Black packaging and the perfect mirror inside make this a very tactile and portable palette to travel with. Completley clean of Parabens, Talc, Gluten and any kind of nasty and obviously Cruelty free, this is a palette you can reach for in a hurry. The “aim” of this palette is to be able to apply and blend shadows with your fingers without any fall out or compromise on pigment. I know i adore using my brushes but some shades and formulas do work much better, offering a better colour pay off when applied gently with the fingertips. I was super excited to test this theory out.

Bareminerals Bounce and Blur Dusk Palette

Inspired by the natural beauty of the Sunlit sky there are two palettes available Dusk, which i have and a more cool tone Dawn. Immediatly i was reminded of some of my favourite shades in a Pat McGrath palette i reviewed a while back HERE, so i was interested in testing out this much more affordable palette. With finishes ranging from Satin to Shimmer thanks to the Colour Smart Pearls, the tones are always luminous and never flat or dull which I love in a shadow. Plus on a more mature eye, with hooded lids or fine lines and wrinkles, I find these shadows added a lovely “Ethereal” more youthful look to the eye.

Bounce and Blur Swatch Dawn palette

The colours included are very much my cup of tea :

Evening Star, a satin creamy beige
Harvest Moon, a metallic burnt amber
Crimson Sunset, a satin deep crimson
Sepia Sky, a satin darkened sepia
Purple Twilight, a satin rich plum.

The shadows feel almost wet on the finger but dry on the eye, the look can be created in seconds and the colour lasts all day, I was so surprised. This really is a great transitional palette into Autumn.

Bounce & Blur Blush

Bareminerals Bounce and Blure Blushers

These are super fun to play with and very easy to use. I have four shades

Mauve sunrise, Blurred Buff, Pink Sky and Coral Cloud. They are all designed to be applied by the fingers, which i really like in a blush and have a lovely buildable blend. They are completly weightless on the skin and when buffed on with the finger should not move any make up underneath. They are also full of a Botanical Blend of ingredients to give that blurred out appearance and the inclusion of the Colour Smart Pearls adds a subtle hit of luminosity.

Bounce And Blur Blush Swatches

Mauve Sunrise – is that lovely pink/mauve with a hit of shimmer highlight

Blurred Buff – is a lovely sunny gold shade which would work wonderfully on darker skin tones

Pink Sky – is a pop of shimmery, fresh pink

Coral Cloud – is my favourite on tanned skin and gives that true coral pop of colour

What i will say is that these have a cream to powder type consistancy and when applied with your finger, will at first deposit quite a bit of colour in one spot. However they do move and blend easily and are buildable for a fuller depth of colour. They also work wonderfully as eye shadow or as a pop of colour on the lips. Pink Sky is a little too pink for me and i have to be careful where i apply it as it can enhances my pores. But the other shades work beautifully.

Not a big user of eye makeup other than liner and mascara. However these colours do tempt me, the shades are lovely
