Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Collection

As one of my favourite Skincare brands, it is always an absolute joy to receive a parcel from Pixi. When I realised it was the Pixi Beauty Vitamin C Collection I was over the moon as this really is the perfect time of year to start incorporating Vitamin C into your routine.

Pixi Skintreats Vitamin C Collection

Vitamin C is a really hardworking Skincare Ingredient. It can be skin changing with its brightening and balancing effects as well as protecting the skin from free radicals. As we get older, our skin really does start to struggle with luminosity and we all know that a fresher more youthful looking complexion can also help give us a brighter more sunnier disposition…. well it does me!

There is nothing worse for me than looking in the mirror and realising I look as tired as I feel but the moment my skin looks good I feel good. It really does have that kind of psychological impact for me. With this in mind I was so excited to test out this complete Vitamin C range from Pixi Beauty.

Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser 150ml £18

Pixi Skintreat Vitamin C Serum

Wow, Wow, Wow! This Vitamin C Juice Cleanser is the ease of a Micellar with the power of Vitamin C and I am absolutely obsessed!! This brand new launch from Pixi packs a punch and gives you immediate results as well as long term benefits over time, which I love. The packaging is my favourite, with one of those push down pumps, meaning you can leave this on your dressing table and pump it out with one hand, making it quick and easy for everyday use. The real benefit of this though is that you do not need to rinse it off. Packed with Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid plus Probiotics, this not only cleanses the skin beautifully, ( I love it as a second cleanse, or a morning cleanse) but thanks to the Ferulic Acid which is found naturally in the leaves of plants, its super powerful at neutralising Free Radicals from pollution, blue light and other external aggressors. More than just a cleanser this has the bonus of Probiotics to keep the skin healthy as well as the wonderful brightening affect of the stable Vitamin C. Apply over the face and neck (avoiding the eyes) with a cotton pad and leave to dry. Bye bye boring Micellar, hello Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser. Available HERE

Vitamin-C Tonic 100ml £10

Pixi Skintreats Vitamin C Tonic

I am a huge fan of Pixi Tonics as you probably already know, I adore and use daily the Glow Tonic, love and adore the Rose Tonic for when my skin is feeling a little bit sensitised and am obsessed with the Retinol Tonic for when I want a more gentler Retinol Fix, usually in the Summer. So you can only imagine how excited I was when I heard about their Vitamin-C Tonic. The reason I adore all of the Pixi Tonics is because they are super gentle on the skin, yet give really great results. Perfect for use after the above cleanser, this alcohol free Tonic smells wonderfully citrus and uplifting and leaves the skin feeling tingling and fresh. Containing the potent antioxidant Vitamin C power to promote healthy Collagen production and boost the skins luminosity, this works like a charm. Probiotics help with the skins barrier and Willow Bark and Fruit Extracts give a gentle exfoliation. This is super quick and easy by applying with a cotton pad and gently sweeping across the face, neck and décolleté avoiding the eye area. I love it. Available HERE

Vitamin-C Serum 30ml £26

Pixi Skintreat Vitamin C Serum

Time and time again I mention that a serum is my favourite skincare product. It is with this product, in this part of your skincare regime (after cleansing and toning and before moisturising) that you really can pack in all those incredible skincare benefitting ingredients. The Smell of this really is Lemony fresh – thanks to the Lemon peel extract and Mandarin extracts, and will certainly wake your skin up each morning. Just 2-3 drops of this deliciously yellow serum is all that is needed over the face and neck to give your skin a boost of radiance and reduce the effects of sun damage and free radicals whilst helping to create a smoother skin tone and texture. Once you have included this gem into your skincare regime, you will not look back. The texture is fluid without being runny and is not sticky at all making it a lovely skincare experience. Available HERE

Vitamin-C Lotion 50ml  50ml £24

Pixi Vitamin C Lotion

This Vitamin-C Lotion from Pixi is the moisturiser in the range and whilst it is light in texture, it does offer an all day hydration, even on my mature, dehydrated skin type so would also work wonderfully on an oiler skin. However, for me, there is something about the smell that makes this feel more like a treatment process that a “Pampering” skincare experience. I love the packaging, it is in their screw top tube, which I adore, and it is packed with the Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid and Probiotics like the other products, but it is the fragrance that puts me off personally. Great for travelling due to the packaging and the size and it does work wonderfully at brightening the skin in conjunction with the rest of the range, but not one I would reach for daily I don’t think. Available HERE

Vitamin-C Caviar Balm 45ml £24

Pixi Vitamin C Caviar Balm Swatch

If you adore their Rose Flash Balm as much as I do, then I think you will also love this! All of Pixi Balms work wonderfully under make up and really wake the skin up. This Vitamin-C Balm works by applying a thin layer to the skin and leaving it to soak in. The skin is left feeling super soft and smooth, incredibly hydrated and protected. The encapsulated Vitamins literally melt into the skin giving the skin the most beautifully radiant complexion which I love. I don’t think my skin has ever felt so smooth as it does after I have used this, it fills in all my pores and wrinkles and just works perfectly as a primer even on days when I don’t want to wear make up. Must have product. Available HERE

What I love about Pixi Skincare is that if  you have tried a product in one of their ranges, you can almost guarantee that the textures will be the same across all of their other ranges. So the Rose Flash Balm has the almost same exact texture at the Vitamin-C balm and so on. It is great that they offer a full regime in each of their ranges too, so if you love the effects of Rose on your skin, you will adore their Rose range HERE.

Back to you beauty wearing pixi skincare

In saying that, you can incorporate the Vitamin-C range into your existing skincare routine by either swapping out your Micellar for the Vitamin-C Juice Cleanser, or adding in the Vitamin-C Serum. However you wish to do it I urge you to give this range a try. I used the complete range solidly for 4 weeks to see the improvement on my skin and was dumbfounded at the increase in luminosity – as shown above in my make up free photo. Now I incorporate the products into my daily routine with some of my other favourite skincare products depending on the weather, my stress factors and what my skin needs.

Pixi Beauty really is an affordable range for everyone, works incredibly well and is a brand that once you try, you will fall completely in love with. To Read more about my love for Pixi go HERE, HERE, HERE and HERE.
