I have to give it to Pixi, no one sends out PR Parcels as beautiful as they do, and believe me I know I am incredibly lucky to receive them! So when the Pixi Hydrating Milky Collection dropped on my doorstep I couldn’t wait to tell you all about it.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Collection

Pixi Hydrating Milky Collection is the 100% Vegan range that focuses on delivering deep down skin hydration through every step of your skincare regime. The packing is clean and simple and the products contain highly nourishing and conditioning ingredients such as Jojoba, Coconut and Probiotics to protect and soothe the skin.

Included in this range are the following products:

Hydrating Milky Make Up Remover

Pixi Hydrating Milky Make Up remover

This really is a wonderful first step of your make up removal regime. This super milky, almost creamy liquid, removes even the most stubborn mascara and long wearing foundation with one swipe. Gentle yet effective the inclusion of Coconut nourishes the skin so as not to leave it feeling dry, Probiotics balance the skin after cleansing and Oat Extract soothes the skin. It is a lovely fuss free way to remove make up quickly, leaves the skin feeling fresh and ready for the next part of cleansing and the packaging is fab!

Hydrating Milky Cleanser

Pixi Hydrating Milky Cleanser

I find this cleanser to be really rich and dare I say it a touch drying on my dehydrated skin, however, it acts like a magnet to cleanse the skin deep down. For me, it’s still a nice cleanse as I apply my nourishing skincare straight after so it doesn’t cause me much concern. I think an oily skin would really enjoy this cleanser as it really does remove excess sebum perfectly. Containing Willow Bark, an ingredient I love and Coconut Extract, it does offer a really deep down cleanse and leaves the skin looking bright and feeling smooth afterwards. The cleanser, when applied to dry skin, feels very rich but once water is added melts luxuriously into the skin creating a foam, once rinsed you get that almost squeeky clean feeling to the skin.  If you are not a foaming cleanser type person, which I am not usually as I find them drying on my skin, this is not for you but if you are oily, more combo skin I think it would work great.

Hydrating Milky Peel

Pixi Hydrating Milky Peel

I am a huge fan of Pixi Peels especially their Peel & Polish product  so was super excited to try this! Now look, I know a few people that have tried this and not really liked it, but I was so surprised by what I could see being sloughed off!! I wanted to test this product over the space of a few weeks and without using any Glycolic etc and when I did boy oh boy did my skin look good. This super satisfying peel is incredibly gentle on the skin and yet you can feel the little exfoliating pieces, and more so you can see the dirt being lifted off. It leaves the skin super smooth and feeling really hydrated. The same formula of Coconut to nourish, Willow Bark to refine pores and Cellulose to exfoliate, make this a pleasure to use. You can use this as needed, apply a thin layer, leave for 2-3 minutes then gently massage into skin and rinse. Super Satisfying

Milky Tonic

Pixi Hydrating Milky Tonic

If you have never tried a Pixi tonic, then you are really missing out. Choose one you like the sound of from Glow Tonic, Rose Tonic, Vitamin-C Tonic, and invest in a travel size to get yourself started. You will be so happy you did. I actually think i have all of the Pixi Tonics, because they are so gentle and really do exactly what they say they will. Milky Tonic is the perfect addition to this range and can of course, be used in conjunction with any other skincare regime to add balance and comfort to your skin.

This toner is cooling and soothing on the skin and is just perfect to use after cleansing. All skin types will enjoy this as its all about quenching the skins thirst. With Green Tea Extract to refresh the skin, Jojoba Milk to nourish and Oat Extract to Calm and soothe, this is an absolute beauty. It works wonders on my dehydrated skin.

Hydrating Milky Serum

Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum

I have been using this as my one stop product to cool down an inflamed or irritated skin if I have over done my exfoliation. I find that it hydrates my skin beautifuly but also leaves it feeling really deeply nourished and gives it a lovely glowy look. Packed full of Rosehip and Vitamins, this is the perfect serum for anyone wanting something easy to apply. This is  cooling and soothing and can also plump the look of fine lines and wrinkles whilst adding radiance to the skin. I think this is a perfect serum for us more mature people as it smoothes the skin out beautifully with regular, daily use. I am absolutely in love!!

Hydrating Milky Lotion

Pixi Hydrating Milky Lotion

My least favourite product from the range sadly, Hydrating Milky Lotion is exactly that. It smells and feels like baby lotion, and leaves a white cast on the skin and takes a lot of massage to get into the skin. Now, if you are a younger skin, teenager…. i think this is a great first moisturiser for you, but anyone older and i would not suggest this. The only real benefits it has is that it feels quite hydrating but as this product is made for the hands, face and body, its one I will  personally stick to popping on my legs.

Pixi Hydrating Milky Collection

My thoughts on this collection

All in all I think there are some real gems in the Pixi Hydrating Milky Collection, depending on your age and skin concerns. I absolute love the aesthetic of this collection, it looks so pretty on the dressing table. My winners are the Make up remover, Milky Peel, Toner and Serum. I am encorporating these into my routines most days and my skin is loving the extra hydration.
