I know, I know! Its late going up, but blimey these weeks are just flying by! I have such a great selection of favourites from January that I had to post even though we are in the second week of February so here goes..
NUBO Eye Dynamic Focus
I am not going to deny that this is an incredibly luxurious item and that is reflected in the price, and I was lucky enough to have received this as a Christmas gift. But Wow!! The results I have had have been incredible. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive, this eye cream focuses on not only diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, puffiness and dark circles but also acts as a “soft focus filter” making the eyes look younger. Full of incredible ingredient’s such as Fixative Policomplex which creates a breathable film over the eye area to give an instant lift effect, Pro-Vitamin C helps banish the darkness of under eye circles, and Vitamin P can help with broken capillaries and shadows. I know that when I use this cooling lotion around my eye area, immediately it looks more youthful , brighter and lifted and I absolutely adore it. This brand really is one step ahead and is huge within the beauty industry and a Harrods best seller. My only concern is justifying the £180 price tag.
Doll 10 Pro Eye Shadow Palette
As you know Doll 10 Has been one of my favourite make up brands for over 3 years. Their Matte Palette is a firm favourite that I love and have recommended many a time. When I heard they were releasing a new palette I worried if it would be as good. Well its better! Full of 12 incredibly deeply pigmented shades in a collection of matt and shimmer, if this was your only palette ever, you would not get bored. You can create a host of looks from natural day time to full on glamour and use some of these shades as highlighters too. The shadows are silky soft, blend like a dream and last all day. Been reaching for this a lot the past month and loving it, plus its great value.
Make Up Revolution Pro Glow Palette
I purchased this last month when it was released in Superdrug and have not stopped using it. Firstly, the price is ridiculous at £10.00 for a palette of 8 shades you just cant go wrong, plus Superdrug always have deals going on so look out for those. I love the versatility of these shades as they can be used dry for a more subtle highlight or wet for a full on glow! These are really pretty and can be used on the eyes, the brow bones, the cheeks the face and the body. I think these will suit all skin tones and are not over powering. A must have for your make up collection in my opinion.
Urban Decay Vintage Vice Lipstick in Bruise
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Urban Decay have launched the limited-edition Vice Lipstick Vintage Capsule Collection—featuring nine shades from UD’s original lip line up. I have 4 shades and they are so retro it’s brilliant. You just cant go wrong with an Urban Decay lipstick and with these you get everything. The packaging is so pretty with is silver and gold coloured barrel and case and each lipstick is embossed with UD. My current favourite shade is BRUISE which is an incredibly vampy Rouge and you know i’m all about that red. It feels buttery soft on the lips, gives a sheer wash of colour and lasts all night. I love this during the day too. They have some fab shades in this collection, from blue to purple to oil slick black so definitely check them out for something a bit special.
Lola Lip Gloss 006 Red
If you have not heard of Lola by Perse yet, then let me introduce you as this really is a MUST have range. Created in Britain by a team of make up artists, this brand is completely cruelty free, professional, full of incredible ingredients’ and super, super affordable. If you follow my social media, you will know that I am obsessed with their eye shadow quads and in December this was pretty much the only brand I wore. The longevity, the pigments, the feel, everything is super professional and gives a flawless look. Today I want to flag up this beautifully vibrant red lip gloss. Believe me, red is not just for Christmas and is my most worn shade. The reason I reach for this gloss time and time again is because I love the colour, the coverage and the fact it also includes hyaluronic acid. It makes the lips feel hydrated and look plumper and is so comfortable to wear with none of that sticky feeling. The colour is a luscious Marilyn Monroe red which is my favourite shade and very easy to wear. If you are looking for a great red, I can highly recommend this.
I hope my January Favourites may have introduced you to some new brands. I would love to hear which products you are currently enjoying at the moment! Leave me a comment below.
