Well I have not done one of these posts for a while and boy is it worth the wait. I have been testing and trialling so many new skincare products and have narrowed it down to the ones I really think you should try. Spring is (almost) upon us and it’s out with the old and in with the new.

Whats New in Skincare March 2019

I have tried to cover all basis, skin types and concerns and hope you enjoy my pick of new product to try this Spring.

Decleor CiCA-Botanic Balm Eucalyptus

decleor cica botanic

Lets just start out by saying – YOU NEED THIS PRODUCT hahaha!! If you have skin, then you will find a use for this deliciously nourishing multi purpose balm. We all know no-one does a balm quite like Decleor and the CICA Botanic Balm is no exception. This 100% natural balm will soon become a staple in your beauty and medicinal cupboard. If you have dry skin, you can apply this on the face or body (except the eyes and intimate areas) if you have sore skin, apply this, a blemish that needs calming down, a little dab of this will do ya! Containing powerful essential oils Eucalyptus, Rosemary, Niaouli ( a tree from the Myrtle family) and Geranium, this balm has the power to sooth, hydrate, repair and protect the skin. I have use this on my cuticles, which get exceptionally dry, any spots on my face, (which have cleared up in a day!!) I’ve also used it on my feet, my elbows and anywhere I have dry skin. Smells beautifully of Eucalyptus but not in an overpowering way, and is an absolute joy to use.

IT Cosmetics Miracle Water 3-in-1 Tonic

miracle water it cosmetics

There seems to be nothing that I do not like from IT Cosmetics! Literally, I have been a die hard fan for 7 years now and am constantly impressed by how they can create not only beautiful make up, but incredible skincare too. Working with a team of plastic surgeons and dermatologists means you can be sure that these products do what they say they will. First up is the beautiful Miracle Water. Using Micellar technology this water can be used instead of or after cleansing to remove impurities, dirt and grime. It can also be used as a brightening tonic that almost lifts and tones the skin, boosting hydration and radiance. It feels incredibly cooling and as smooth as silk on the skin and really calms down a red and inflamed skin too. I love to use this after cleansing and apply a sweep of this across my face and leave it to dry. This Innovative tonic is your Skin-Brightening Radiance Booster, Anti-Aging Treatment Essence and Skin-Softening Micellar Cleanser—all in one product! Using their Secret Sauce™ Fermented Complex helps increase absorbency and maximize the efficacy of your moisturizers and serums. A great addition to any skincare regime and suitable for all skin types and ages. Plus the bottle is beautiful too so added bonus!

IT Cosmetics Secret Sauce

Following on from the above 3-in-1 tonic, is the new Secret Sauce Moisturiser. Now, I adore their Confidence in a cream, and wondered how they would make this better, but believe me this is a completely different product, but one that I love! Secret Sauce is the most lightweight, water like texture of moisturiser I have ever tried. It literally feels like silk, thanks to the inclusion of Hydrolysed Collagen and leaves the skin looking airbrushed. I don’t know what magic they use, but boy is this good! Containing their Secret Sauce Fermented Complex as mentioned above, this contains Peptides and Hyaluronic, Vitamin C and Liquorice root to hydrate the skin and smooth out those fine lines and wrinkles, it also has the power to balance out an oily skin and sooth an inflamed skin. Add to this the proprietary “Drops of Light” Technology and Diamond Dust and this moisturiser is perfect to add a glow to the skin. I absolutely am blown away by this product and have found my skin looks glowing and healthy and gives me the confidence to walk around make up free. Nice one Jamie.

Caudalie Resveratrol Lift Limited Edition 25ml

caudalie resveratrol 25ml

I first wrote about this product back in 2016 HERE and whilst this is not a new product, the Limited Edition version is. Caudalie is currently offering a Limited Edition discovery size of the iconic Face Lifting Soft Cream for just £23 HERE. This is the perfect way to try out a new cream, or purchase this for your travels. The Face Lifting Soft Cream is super nourishing, yet lightweight which leaves a veil of moisture and an almost cashmere soft touch to the skin. Resveratrol is produced by grapevines to protect and renew themselves so this “magic” natural ingredient has been combined with micro hyaluronic acids to increase the skin cells own hyaluronic production. This cream is instantly cooling and hydrating on the skin and offers a fantastic lift around the chin area. I had great results when I was using it.

Emma Hardie Moringa essentials Kit

emma hardie collection

This kit was actually launched back in January, but I did not get round to featuring it. With Mothers Day just around the corner I thought this would be a great time to let you know about it. This Kit contains two of Emma Hardies most loved products : Moringa Cleansing Balm with dual action cleansing cloth and Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask. This botanical Cleansing balm has earned cult status, it deeply cleanses the skin, removing all traces of make up, dirt and pollutants whilst also hydrating and nourishing it. The Moringa Renewal Treatment Mask is perfect at Hydrating and brightening dull and dehydrated skin, whilst improving the skins texture. A great collection for Emma Hardie fans or anyone new to the range. The contents are worth £ 78.00 but you can purchase tis kit for £48.00 making a great saving.

Elemis Superfood Kefir-Tea Mist

elemis kefir tea mist

We all know how much I love a mist (read HERE and HERE) they are just that perfect, super quick fix that can instantly brighten your skin and your day. Well, Elemis have launched a beautifully uplifting Mist that not only refreshes and brightens the skin, but also balances it, tones it and sets make up! Now what’s not to love about that? Infused with antioxidants, rich superfoods, Rooibos Tea extract , vegan Kefir ferment, Organic Aloe Vera, Coconut Water, and natural Prebiotic, this really feeds the skin whilst working at performing all those things listed above. Why do I love it? Because it is the super fast way to do what I my skin needs! After cleansing I can spritz this over my face to tone and balance it. I can set my make up with it, knowing those ingredients are still getting to work and any time im feeling sleepy I cand add a spritz to refresh and awaken me. A perfect multi-purpose product!

Elemis Superfood Vital Veggie Mask

I saw these back in January not long before they launched and was super excited about them. I got to have a play, feel them and smell them and just kn ew they would be as good as I imagined. I am also talking about the Berry Boost Mask, which I will write about below. Firstly, the Vital Veggie Mask, is a nourishing pre-biotic green mask that is rich in Omega Oils to support the skins moisture barrier. Perfect for anyone that wants to brighten their complexion and let the fruit acids nibble away at dead skin leaving behind a brighter look. I alternate between this and the Berry mask, and apply this once a week (though they recommend twice weekly) and relax for 10 minutes. There can be a slight tingle at times as the fruit acids get to work, but when I wipe away, my skin looks glowing and feels much softer. A great exfoliating mask that gives instant results. Vegan friendly too!

Elemis Superfood Berry Boost Mask

This mask is perfect for Mattifying, purifying and balancing the skin. So maybe if you have a more oily or blemishes prones skin, you would choose this. However, multi-masking is the perfect way to use both these masks at the same time. You could perhaps put this mask across your tzone and the Veggie Mask everywhere else. Inspired by smoothies, this mask smells and looks absolutely delicious but don’t eat it! Just spread it across your face and chest if that area is prone to blemishes. Containing Purple Clay which exfoliates and detoxifies the skin and an Omega Rich SuperBerry Complex, this mask will have your skin looking and feeling its best I n o time. Use 1-2 times per week.

Sunshapers SPF 30 Sun Cream and After Sun Lotion

These two products have literally just landed on my desk and are completely new to me. I have not yet tried them out for any length of time, but was so curious I immediately wanted to tell you about them. Apparently, these produc ts combine ‘proven’ fat-burning and anti-cellulite ingrediants with suncare. Created by Rosa Gardella who was spending far too muych time on her travels layering her bodycare product with her suncare, she had the idea to incorporate them into one easy to use product without compromising that all important UVA/UVB protection. For best results use the SPF 30 daily when in the sun and then the after sun in the evening and for two to three weeks after. for more information on these products go to

Phew! There you have my comprehensive guide to what is new in skincare this February/March. I would love to know which products above you think you might try so do leave me a comment below.
