Elf x I heart Revolution Christmas Collaboration

As someone that does not usually purchase a lot of Christmas Make Up collaborative items, even i was shocked at how fast the Elf x I heart Revolution Christmas Collaboration landed in my basket. Elf is my favourite, favourite ever Christmas film and something about this Collection made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Known for their affordability, Make Up Revolution are knocking it out of the park with their collaborations. Last year i featured the Friends Collaboration HERE and i am just as excited about this one.

I went to purchase this collection the second it launched on the Make Up Revolution site and the products were selling out right before my eyes. Elf Im a Cotton Headed Ninny Muggins Palette

First off can i just say, i absolutely love the pink embossed packaging with the Elf logo on, it just makes me so happy. I was also surprised to see a really nice sized mirror inside, perfect to see your whole face in when creating a eye shadow look. Inside there are 25 shadows, now these are on the small side, maybe a 5 pence piece size, but there are a lot of different coloured mattes and shimmers. This really is the perfect palette for anyone that loves to play and experiement with make up.

With full on festive reds and greens to easy daytime wear nudes, this is  a wonderfully pigmented palette that builds well and blends easily. Some of the Shimmers do swatch very similar, but i’m not mad and when you build up the colour they do differ. With soft Mattes and Bright Shimmers, it is honestly a palette i will reach for time and time again. Completley Vegan and Peta approved, at £15 you just cant go wrong. Christmas Cheer Highlighter in shade Buddy

Now, i admit it, this may not be the highlighter that suits me the most out of the 3 Elf offerings, but its called Buddy and how can i purchase anything Elf related without Buddy…. hahahaha!

As i mentioned, there are three very pretty and very big (0.30oz) highlighter shades in the Elf range. Buddy is a Shimmering Gold which works best on Medium skin tones but they also have Jovie for lighter skin tones, which is a Shimmering Rose Gold and Pappa Elf, a shimmering Bronze for darker skin tones. This Highlight does come in massive packaging so you may have trouble storing it and i doubt if it will fit in a make up bag but i just love it!! Also note that these do not contain a mirrior. I think these make incredible stocking fillers as they are so affordable! The shade is the most beautiful pop of Gold. It can be blended for a more subtle shade or hit with some fixing spray for a brighter glow!! I love this on the eyelids, the inner corner of the eye, the brow bone and the cheek bones. So pretty! Eye Glisten in shade North Pole

The pay off on these is insane!! They are creamy and wearable and with a choice of two, i have North Pole which is a pretty almost Barbie pink Matte and Shimmer, or you can have New York which is a dual ended Gold Matte and Shimmer . Once these set… THEY SET!!

They are complety budge proof until you remove them with eye make up remover. You get a few seconds play time, so maybe build it up a little at a time but the pay off is just incredible and it DOES NOT BUDGE. I love these and i think i will purchase the gold shade too!! Available HERE
