Whenever Charlotte Tilbury launches a new product, you can believe i will be the first in line to try it. So when i saw the Beautiful Skin Foundation launch it was in my basket in no time.
I was on the wait-list for this but it seems that those that ordered from Cult Beauty received theirs first. Do bare that in mind if you are on a wait list for something and check around some of the more popular online beauty stores to see if they have the launch exclusive.
The Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Foundation is described as “A next generation, medium coverage foundation that will improve the look of your skin every time you wear it” . With the trend for more natural looking skin and the big push on skin tints last year, it was only a matter of time before Charlotte created something more natural looking.
I used Charlotte Tilburys on line foundation matcher and i have to say it worked an absolute treat this time. My shade came up as 4 Warm and as you can see in my first impressions video HERE it is literally the perfect shade match to my neck and my Winter Skin.
I applied mine with a brush at first as i had seen that recommended by team Tilbury, but to be honest a blender gives an even more natural flawless look. The coverage feels super lightweight on the skin and because it is packed full of Hyaluronic, it feels more like skincare, than make up, with just a slight tackiness that gives it a fresh, hydrating feel. It applied absolutely beautifully with no patchiness and one to one and half pumps is more than enough for that natural skin look. It is buildable if you feel the need to add more, but i am loving the look of just one “Layer”.
For me it feels just a touch more than a skin tint, and the longer you wear it the more it warms to the skin and leaves it looking so natural so flawless. Powder and cream products sit beautifully on top without causing any breakdown and i do truly believe that if you are someone that likes only a light, natural coverage base, you will fall in love with this.
Perfect on dry, combination and dehydrated skins, its doesn’t sit in fine lines or cake around blemishes. I will say that i believe a more oily skin would have to use a light powder, as due to the natural etherial glow this leaves, you could be let with some shine. I have worn this for a least 12 hours and my skin still looked as beautiful as when i first applied it.
If you like Loreal True Match Nude foundation i think you’ll love this and it’s also comparable to It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation. I am sold on this new launch, i think it lives up to the hype and works beautiful on skin of all ages.

I’m so tempted to get this. The website says I’m 4N but it said that for the flawless airbrush and it was way too dark! 🤔

I have to say the flawless flash also got my shade complety wrong and its far too light, however i used the shade finder and put in about 4 of my favourite foundation mathes and i think its spot on Warm 4 x Good Luck its so hard isnt it. Try the foundation finder website x
This looks interesting. Im not a foundation girl at all. The only thing i like is bareMinerals complexion rescue. Do you think this new one would make a good alternative for a change.
