Charlotte Tilbury has launched a brand new product with all the fanfare that only she can! Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation Stick is here and it has been met with some mixed reviews. Let me share with you my thoughts, how I first discovered this was going to launch and share with you what it looks like on real skin.
In Early June I was invited to the secret launch of Unreal Skin Sheer Glow Tint Hydrating Foundation Stick. When I saw, and heard Charlotte Talk about this product I was so intrigued and super excited. I love a foundation stick and I know so many of you do, because they are super easy to use and incredibly portable. However this is different. It has an exceptional glow about it that has really divided customers.
This has a very natural sheer to light coverage that offers a blurring effect to the skin, perfect for those of us that like a natural look. The formula is so beautiful and so smoothing thanks to the hydrating Hyaluronic Acid, nourishing Daikon Radish Seed Oil, antioxidant-rich Vitamin E, plus “Collageneer”. It blends in easily with the fingers or a brush and feels like skincare. The glow is a luminous pearlescent glow that looks really beautiful on the skin. Now, people are likening it to Flawless Filter, and I can see why… it does add a stunning glow to the skin, but this is more serum like than flawless filter and much more dewy.
What I have discovered though, and this is where I think people are going wrong, is that you need to be absolutely spot on with your shade. I did use the shade matching tool on the Charlotte Tilbury website and my shade 5 medium is absolutely spot on….However, if you are unsure, get shade matched instore. I have seen too many people going a shade or two light and it leaving an almost metallic sheen on the skin, but get the right shade and you are on to a winner.
I have mature, combination skin with pores and wrinkles and my skin looked smooth almost airbrushed and had a healthy glow. This product also works well with a setting powder in the areas you want less glow and better with a primer underneath. I love Charlottes SPF primer HERE.
Final thoughts :
I am loving this product but if you are oily, this might be too dewy for you. I also think it should have been marketed more as a highlight / glow product rather than a foundation. Do you need it? Possible not if you use and love Flawless Filter, but it is a lovely addition to your Summer make up wardrobe for dewy skin.

I’m looking forward to trying it x
Wish I had read this review before I purchased it. Much too glowy and pearlescent for my mature skin. I found it didn’t have much staying power either the twice I have tried it.
Normally I’m a Charlotte fan but this is definitely not for me.
That’s such a shame, can you use it as a highlight instead so as not to waste it? Maybe mix it in with your foundation or blush then set with powder x
